Registrant: This public notification has been anonymized as required by section 39.3(4) of the Health Professions Act, on the basis of an admission by the Registrant that they suffer from a health condition that impairs their ability to practise.
Date: November 28, 2019
Nature of Action: The Registrant agreed to undertakings under section 36(1) of the Health Professions Act to place their practice under regulatory supervision to assist in managing the impact of the Registrant’s health condition on their practice.
Reason: The Registrant’s agreement resolved an investigation initiated by the Inquiry Committee on its own motion under section 33(4) of the Health Professions Act into concerns about the Registrant’s management of the impact of their health condition on their practice of psychology. The Inquiry Committee was satisfied that the public would be protected by the Registrant being under regulatory supervision to address issues related to managing administrative aspects of their practice, completing psychological assessment reports in a timely manner, and updating clients regarding timelines for completion of reports when unforeseeable delays arise.
