Please be advised that the letter linked to below is ONLY for registrants practicing in the Interior Health Region who meet the criteria in the letter. The onus is on the individual registrant in the Interior Health Region to carefully review the criteria to determine their own eligibility.

Phase Two of the BC Covid-19 Vaccination Plan includes vaccination of all health care professionals providing direct patient care in acute and community health care settings (including home care) according to the guidelines for prioritizing specific professions provided by the Ministry of Health. As per previous CPBC information provided to registrants, the Ministry of Health guidance is intended as advice to regional health authorities, and regional health authorities remain responsible for determining timing of offering the opportunity for vaccination to eligible health professions dependent upon geography, vaccine supply and demand.

Please be advised that ONLY registered psychologists practicing in the Interior Health Authority Region are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine according to the terms which are set out in the letter linked below from IHA. Registrants are advised to contact the IHA with any questions they may have regarding this offer.

Please watch for further notices regarding availability of vaccines for registrants practicing in other health authority regions soon.

A reminder that everyone must continue to follow Provincial Health Officer orders and guidelines and continue to practice COVID-19 safety behaviours even after receiving a vaccine.
