ACPRO Workshop—Shannon Beauchamp “Cultural Safety and Humility – It Starts With Me”

We are pleased to advise registrants that the Association of Canadian Psychology Regulatory Organizations (ACPRO) is offering an opportunity to psychologists across Canada to participate in a virtual session “Cultural Safety and Humility – It Starts With Me” which will be facilitated by Shannon Beauchamp (Migizi Miigwan Equae) and scheduled for October 7, 2021. Complete information about the session is available here.

Many CPBC registrants will recognize this session as similar to one hosted by the CPBC last spring. Close to 25% of CPBC registrants participated in that session and all reports were that it was a rewarding and informative experience. We urge those registrants who were unable to attend the session in April 2020 to consider signing up for this session.

Registration for this workshop is limited to 1,000 and is open to those registered with a provincial or territorial psychology regulatory organization. We urge everyone interested to act quickly to register and ensure their participation.

My best wishes for your good health.

Sincerely,

Dr. Andrea Kowaz
