The College is pleased to announce that the date for the second of Dr. Haskell’s two-part virtual workshops has been set.
DATE: Thursday, November 24, 2022
TIME: 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. (Pacific)
As a reminder, you need to have attended, or watched the recording of, the first workshop (Trauma Informed Practice: Understanding the Neurobiological and Psychological Effects of Violence and Abuse) in order to register for the second part. Dr. Haskell’s second workshop will focus on practical considerations when providing assessment and therapy services and will be based on theoretical information presented in her first workshop. As in the previous workshop, particular attention will be paid to working with Indigenous clients who have a trauma history.
For those who have not yet watched the recording of the first workshop and wish to do so, you may register for it here. The fee to access the recording of the first workshop is $50.00.
There will also be a nominal fee of $50.00 for the second workshop, whether you attend the virtual event on November 24th or register to view the recording at a later date. More information about the workshop and regarding registration will be provided in subsequent notices.
